We are here to help!
Big Rivers Halloween is a seasonal Halloween event taking over Big Rivers Waterpark throughout October and November 1. The park transforms with Halloween attractions, activities, entertainment, trick-or-treating, seasonal decor, photo opportunities, and more.
The event features two distinct experiences: Boo Rivers, a family-friendly Halloween celebration, and Voodoo Bayou, a darker and scarier experience geared toward guests looking for more of a thrill. Admission includes access to both areas, so guests can choose how spooky they want their night to be.
Big Rivers Halloween takes place on select nights from October 1 through November 1, 2026.
The event begins at 6:00 PM each operating night and typically runs until 10:00 PM, with extended hours until 11:00 PM on select Friday and Saturday nights.
Check the event calendar above for specific operating dates and hours.
Guests have two ways to attend Big Rivers Halloween:
2026 Big Rivers Halloween Ticket: $34.99
Includes one-time admission on any one operating night during the 2026 Big Rivers Halloween season.
2027 Season Pass: $99.99
Available beginning August 1, 2026. Includes unlimited admission to Big Rivers Halloween throughout the 2026 event season, plus admission during the 2027 Big Rivers Waterpark season.
Please note that 2026 Season Passes expire at the end of September and do not include admission to Big Rivers Halloween.
Big Rivers Halloween features two distinctly different Halloween experiences, both included with admission.
Boo Rivers is our family-friendly Halloween area, featuring trick-or-treating, inflatables, amusement rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin activities, family-friendly movies, photo opportunities, and more.
Voodoo Bayou is where things get a little scarier. Located in the wooded area toward the back of the park, Voodoo Bayou features a haunted trail, scare actors, a haunted maze, scary movies, axe throwing, archery, and other experiences designed for guests looking for more of a thrill.
Guests are welcome to enjoy either area or experience both throughout the night.
Yes. Most Big Rivers Halloween activities and entertainment are included with admission, but a few attractions require an additional charge.
Halloween attractions requiring an additional charge include:
- Launch Zone: Test your aim with our slingshot-style launchers and take a shot at the targets.
- Zombie Range: Grab a gel blaster and take aim at zombie targets, including live scare actors roaming the range.
- Aerial Attractions: Falcon’s Flight, Cougar’s Climb, and Vulture’s Dive, also require an additional charge.
No. Big Rivers Halloween takes place after our regular waterpark season has ended, so our water attractions will not be open during the event.
Absolutely! Boo Rivers is designed with families and younger guests in mind, featuring trick-or-treating, Halloween inflatables, amusement rides, a petting zoo, family-friendly movies, seasonal activities, and plenty of Halloween fun without the big scares.
Families should use their discretion when visiting Voodoo Bayou. This area features a darker atmosphere, scare actors, frightening characters, a haunted trail, and other more intense experiences with PG-13-style content.
Guests who prefer a less scary Halloween experience can enjoy Boo Rivers without visiting Voodoo Bayou.
Yes! Guests are welcome and encouraged to dress up for Big Rivers Halloween.
Costumes must be family-appropriate and may not include real or realistic-looking weapons. Costume masks that completely cover the face may be restricted for adult guests. Costumes should not interfere with the safe operation of attractions or create a hazard for other guests.
Guests may not impersonate Big Rivers Halloween scare actors, performers, or team members.
Big Rivers reserves the right to ask guests to remove or modify any costume or costume accessory that may present a safety or security concern.
At Big Rivers Waterpark, safety is our top priority. Environmental, mechanical or weather circumstances would be the main reasons for a ride closure. We will resume the attractions as safety and quickly as possible. Refunds are not available for ride closures.
